Brunton NOLS TruArc™ 15 Luminous Compass
The compass we reach for when we have more advanced navigational needs (slope angle assessment, traveling with a bearing, etc.). The TruArc™ 15 Luminous Compass is a mirrored baseplate compass that allows precise forward and back bearings as well as vertical angle measurements. It has a round level and vial/lid inclinometers that make this compass perfect for advanced navigation, avalanche safety, search & rescue, or scientific field work. Travel a bearing well after dark with the help of the phosphorescent azimuth ring, magnetic needle, direction of travel arrow, and needle house.
We are excited to offer these compasses in partnership with Brunton and announce that they will donate 10% from each sale of a NOLS-branded Brunton compass towards scholarship programs that allow local and Native youth to participate in NOLS courses.
Like all Brunton compasses, this TruArc 15 is made with pride in Riverton, Wyoming, USA and is packaged sustainably.
NOLS courses would be lost without compasses. Grab one before your course and put it to use or pick one up afterwards to make sure your next adventure stays on track.
