Don’t let the 1980’s parachute pant look fool you! These nylon pants are a backcountry essential, a NOLS classic, and the number one item on student equipment lists. They’re so practical they have even been in space! And if this isn’t enough of a description, read this article, devoted entirely to these wind pants. Technical Specs:
•Hunter green water-resistant rip-stop nylon
•Roomy cargo pocket with NOLS logo on tag
•Knees, seat, and cargo pocket are re-enforced with 1000 denier Cordura®
patches. Color of the patch depends on the size: brown on XL, navy blue on M, hunter green on S and L
•waist has an adjustable draw-cord to accommodate your base layers.
•Side zips on both legs allow you to unzip up to the knees
•Elastic on the ankles protects you from the muck and mud below.
Remember to pick sizing that will fit over your regular clothing size!
